Modeling a diphasic flow

What is the best model to modeling a diphasic jet? water drop + gas jet. Using fluent 6.2 I have a real problem to model a jet. to have good velocity and water concentration. in the tube the values are correct but when the fluid enter in the atmosphere I see a small speed on the first centimeter.

Does someone have experiences in modelling diphasic flow? Does someone have examples? Thanks
