Cp function of density ?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there is a dependance of the Cp to the density. If for example you have same pb with 2 different densities, will it change the result of the Cp ?

Thanks a lot

Guillaume

Dear Guillaume

The pressure Coefficient is defined as: Cp = (P-Pinf)/(0.5.\rho.U^{2}inf)

Therefore is inversely proportional to the density.

Sincerely,

Thanks A.D.E. But Pressure is also function of rho from NS but not linearly because of the viscous term. So at the end , what s the influence of density on the Cp ?

Guillaume
