Default Drag reducing additives

I am using RNG k-e model to simulate pipe flow and need to take into account the effect of introducing DRA for increased throughput. My thought is to utilise differential effective viscosity to allow for low reynolds number flow in RNG model. Does anyone have experience of handling such problems?
