Hi,

I am simulating a stirred tank reacrtor. After a few rotations of the impeller I have injected 7000 particles and I am tracking them with DPM. I am saving the case and data files every 2 ts. But, every few time steps the while saving the data file, it stops and gives me this message:

"Host receiving summary from compute node zero.
Writing "D:\Parisa\FLUENT\Ny mapp (3)\DPM\dpm-3-01996.dat"...
MPI Application rank 2 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status -1073741819
999999 (..\src\mpsystem.c@1149): mpt_read: failed: errno = 10054
999999: mpt_read: error: read failed trying to read 4 bytes: Invalid argument
The Parallel FLUENT process could not be started.
Error: Error writing "D:\Parisa\FLUENT\Ny mapp (3)\DPM\dpm-3-01996.dat".
Error Object: #f"

Then I have to close everything and change my parallel cores from 4 to 3 and open my case and data from one ts before crashing. However, it happens again with 3 cores and then I have to change to 4 again, it happens all the time and I have to switch between the number of cores every 10 or so ts!
Can you please help me to understand and solve the problem?

Ask Ansys and write us here what they did to solve the problem.

I am also having same problem all the time ...please somebody suggest me to resolve this issue...
