Default Not normalized airfoil

Hi all

I am looking for the contour data of a NACA 4415 (X and Y coordinates), but with a chord length different from 1 (not normalized).

So, if I take the common generated points (with chord = 1) and if I scale them in both direction, would it remain a NACA 4415 ? Because I'm not convinced...

Does anyone have any advice?

Regards

Julien

Scale in both directions by the same amount - the airfoil shape will still match.

Can you please tell me how to scale the points?

Most airfoils are defined in x/c and y/c coordinates with c being the chord (streamwise dimension of the wing section). X/c will range from 0-1 and y/c will vary depending in the airfoil shape.

Simply put, multiply the non-dimensional coordinates by chord to scale them.
