modeling of shear thinning

Hi,

I want to model shear thinning for very low Re flow. I have the following idea:

a) iterate just a bit to solve for u,v and p. b) solve viscosity = k*sqrt((du/dy)^2 + (dv/dx)^2)^n (n<1) c) iterate steps a/b interchangingly until convergence

Is it the right way to go? I will be gratefull for an advice. Thanks Dominik

Re: modeling of shear thinning

You can model as follows:

[1] Intialize the velocities and pressure.

[2] Calculates the viscosity

[3] Solve the governing equations

[4] Each time step, repeat step (2) and (3) till convergence.
