Hello, everybody!
I know that the topicīs last post was a while ago, but Iīve found a very interesting article about CD-adapco origins and thought it was nice to share in this thread. Here is the link: http://www.cd-adapco.com/dynamics/cd...s-david-gosman As to the start of FOAM, what I heard when I was doing my Post-doc at Gosmanīs lab some good ten years ago was that Henry Weller and Hrvoje Jasak were both doing their Ph.D. there and when they found out that the code was written in FORTRAN they decided to re-write everything in C. That gave birth to FOAM. As far as I know they postponed their Ph.D. projects in the name of the cause. Such a nice thread this is ;-) See you |
