Dear all,

I'm having trouble in postprocessing a case I successfully analyzed with Fluent.
The geometry is the one in the figure attached. The top wall (visible in the figure) is a 0 shear stress wall while the bottom wall is a symmetry wall.
My aim is to obtain the Mis distribution over the blade at the symmetry plane. So basically I would need to export the static pressure at the intersection between the blade wall and the symmetry wall.
Normally I use tecplot or CFD-Post (from Ansys) for postprocessing but I could not find any way to perform this task with those two programs.

Is there any of you that could help me with the solution of this problem?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Rob

I found a solution that dies not involve the use of Ensight.
I exported the fluent .dat file in ASCII format, specifying that only the Mach number on the blade surface must have been exported (fluent asks for what variables and what zones are interested in the export process).
Then I went through some manipulation by using Matlab and extracting from the ASCII file only the points with z=0.
