Unstructured grid generation

I'm trying to develop a finite volume solver based on unstructured grids.(typically triangular grids for 2d).I got some material for the unstructured grid generation methods ( Delaunay, Advancing Front etc), but I have no idea how to implement them. Any suggestions from the code developers?

Try gmsh (http://www.geuz.org/gmsh/). The binaries are available for free download, but I guess the source code is not available.

Dear Philip,

You can try delaundo software ( it is free, but the source code is in F77 ). Also a free matlab code called DISTMESH is available ( it is a one-page MATLAB code). Check Persson's MIT site for this.

Hope it helps.
