Skewed/inclined lid cavity flow

Hi,

I am now simulating skewed cavity flow with my structured NS solver. I am able to obtain reasonable result at angle of 60deg. however, as the angle becomes more skewed (eg 45deg), the u,v values starts to diverge.

I am wondering if it is due to my code error or that skewed cavity flow has different properties.

Does anyone has experience with this? For example, comparing 2 cavity flows at Re=100, one skewed at 45deg and one not, must grid be finer or must the time step be smaller assumed using the same solver?

By the way, I am using fractional step method.

Thank you
