Discrete vortex method code

Hi!

I am looking for a simple DVM simulation (MATLAB, C, C++...) code to simulate a flow passing a cylinder (or a general shape) in 2D. The aim is to understand the programming way and the implementation of the theory....I have difficulties with these things....

can anyone help me?

Have a look at the following link and the subsequent parts of the series:

It is in C++, I think that you can download the code. But, it does take some freedom with the physics in order to gain CPU time.

But this is not really what I m looking for...it is something much easier...something that should be free downloadable in each flow department at each Uni...
