entropy fix for Riemann problem

HI, i am B.Tech 3rd yr student doing mechanical engg. in IIT

Guwahati. I made a code for Roe method in one dimension

using entropy fix from the book E.F.Toro Riemann solvers

and Numerical Methods for fluid dynamics. But this code

eventhough working for small shocks failed to capture High

shocks. Please, suggest me what should i do for high

shocks.

Hi Vivek,

Please use the Steger Warming and Van Leer's scheme to start with. Make sure that the results are fine and later experiment with Roe scheme.

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by small shocks and high shocks ? and what is the 1-D problem are you looking at?
