CFX versions

Please tell me what version of CFX do you recommend to use, which is more stable? I have a choice to use CFX 5.7 or 5.7.1. Or should I use earlier versions?

Re: CFX versions

Hi,

The newest version, released in August , is CFX-10.0 and it is available for download at the Ansys portal.

If you just have the option to choose between 5.7 and 5.7.1, I think you should choose 5.7.1.There is a Service Pack for each of these versions, which you should also install, they are available for download at the CFX-Community web site and/or at the Ansys portal.

Regards,

Rui

I think you are mistaken. Ansys multipsysics 10 - yes, but ansys cfx 10 - no. Have you ever used CFX 6 or CFX 7 or 8 or 9?

Re: CFX versions

Perhaps I'm mistaken, perhaps the CFX-10 version I have isn't real, perhaps what you can see in this ansys web page http://www.ansys.com/products/cfx-features.asp is an optical ilusion, perhaps the information on the CFX-Community ( http://www-waterloo.ansys.com/community/index.asp ) site is false...

I am mistaken. CFX 10 is real. Number 10 is just to consist to Ansys main products...
