Hello everybody,
I am using Hypermesh V10 for the CFD meshing and Ansys CFX V13 for Pre, Solver and Postprocessing. During my CFD meshing process in Hypermesh I can choose one of five different meshing characteristics: standard aggresive gradual interpolate user controlled Now I have three questions: - which of those is actually the best for the CFD simulation with CFX? - Is there any possibility in meshing in 3d with a quality criteria? - I think there is a remesh option (3d --> smooth). Does anybody have a 3d quality criteria file or tell me which values might be acceptable? Thanks very much in advance |

Hi Andres
The mehs is not base on your code but on the shape that you wish to calculate, so if you have a model of an aircraft and wish to see the turbulence at the back of the plane. I do not think that you can use quality criteria but only to study the element quality after you mesh. I believe that the mesh has to do with the problem, in HW11 there are more CFD options as refiment box etc.. hope to help you |
