Help: hydrogen kinematic viscosity

Hi there,

I am simulating the mass and heat transfer of hydrogen stored in La-Ni5 alloy. Some references say they treated hydrogen kinematic viscosity as a constant, but did not give the value.

Does anyone knows what is the value of hydrogen kinematic viscosity in a reacting tank with temperature range:270K-320K.

Thanks in advance

Fei

Look at NIST database

Hi Fei,
I want to model a metal hydride (LaNi5) hydrogen storage too. Did you simulate your problem with constant kinematic viscosity? Did you have good agreement with experimental data? I think the kinematic viscosity varies with pressure and temperature, doesn't it? Is its variation negligible:confused:
