What a CFD scheme means?

Actually, I am wondering if there is some difference when we say a CFD 'scheme' and a CFD 'method'. It seems the 'methods' are names only for discretization approaches like FDM, FVM and FEM?

For example, a Godunov-type solver with Roe flux should be called Godunov method, Godunov scheme or Roe scheme? And, should we say a discontinuous Galerkin solver is DG scheme or DG method? Why we usually say TVD scheme but not TVD method?
