How to put boundary condition on a 3D cylinder in Gambit?

Hi
I am new to 3D modeling and I have been doing only 2D modelings. I made a a cylinder in Gambit but when I want to specify one end as velocity inlet it chooses the whole cylinder. What should I do? It is different from 2D modeling.
Thanks

if it chooses the whole cylinder, then you only have one surface.
But if you create a basic cylinder in gambit, you should have 3 surfaces: top, bottom and the generated surface.
And pick surface for BC, not volume

Thank you
I figured it out.
