How can I simulate combustion with KIVA? I tried to set the injection, and ignition parameters, I tried with the given examples, but I never noticed some temperature or pressure rise. Where can I find an example of the input parameters of a KIVA combustion simulation? Any advice is welcome.

i too tried combustion with the examples given with the KIVA 3v rel2 cd, (los alomos) ..i didn't succeed. i am able to change injection parameters,like injector loaction, cone angle SMD, SOI ..etc without combustion. me too need help reg the same ...thanks in advance

It's working with ex1, but the fuell quantity is small so you barelly notice the temperature or pressure raise. But if you observe the species (by modifying the monitor routine) there is obvious o2 consumption and co2 creation. In the other examples the parameters concerning combustion are more or less the same, or set for cold flow, so they have to be modified. For ex2 change just t1ign and t1inj to -1.0. In 3d examples, the calculation would crash soon after injection, but I just started trying.
