GMSH Error: Degenerated Hexahedron in extrusion of volume

2 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,
I am quite new to using gmsh. I am currently using gmsh v-2.10.1 . I have been trying to mesh an axisymmetric spherical geometry( shaded portion given in this figure attached Attachment 48518).

In order to create the mesh, I proceeded as follows:
1) Generated the required semi-circular sketch in gmsh.
2) Rotated it by -2.5 degrees.
3) Made the required ruled surfaces and the transfinite lines.
4) Extruded the surfaces by 5 degrees to get the wedge shape.

Now, the problem arises when I try to mesh this geometry. When I click on '3D Mesh' , the mesh is generated but it throws up a lot of same errors:
Error : Degenerated Hexahedron in Extrusion of volume 4.

As a reference I am attaching the .geo (In .txt format ) file named 'AxisymCoarse.txt', which is given at the end of this post. This file contains the details of the dimensions of the geometry and the procedure in which the geometry has been generated.

PS: If I was not clear in any way regarding the query, please ask me as I am new to this forum or please feel free to correct me.

Thanks in advance, :)
Hemaditya
