Using Smoothed Particle hydrodynamics in ANSYS

Hi all, i have a question in using SPH for my solid glass particle impact on Al Plate? the question is

case 1 - I have a solid spherical glass particle of size 0.5 mm and i give a particle size of 0.015, with this i generate around 3489 particles, my question follows in case 2
case 2 - Now imagine i have the same spherical glass particle but with a void ratio of around 0.6, so does it mean i reduce the number of SPH particles by 60 % ? and is this method valid ??? If not then please help me what is the right method to model a particle with high void ratio in the range of 0.6 - 0.7.
