Hi all,

I am a third year student and my dissertation topic is to do with the effects of the boundary layer transition induced by the micro-ramp roughness element on a flatplate.

Right now, i am in the process of producing a mesh on ICEM.

when i scan the planes around the micro-ramp i get this:

Right now, i am thinking that i am on the wrong path, as i am pretty sure when using the scan planes, it should not look this! any advice would be great. i can send the file to whoever is interested in this problem.

i dont know what else to include and would like to apologies if i am not making sense. i only started learning this sofware since october.
