Nicles43 is on a distinguished road
I have a 2D l geometry imported from Inventor as a step file (for now, a spherical like-object inside a circualr farfield to create an O-grid).
I want to increase the resolution of the mesh around certain points on the surface of the sphere.

I tried to manually add points in the geo file.

However, gmsh seems not to recognise them, keeping in mind only the points coming from the imported step file.

What's the right way of doing this?

Due to compatibility needs with other software, I am using gmsh 4.11.1
