Hi all
I need to know the relation between the node location and the mesh index in a one-dimensional vertical edge. The edge is meshed by a successive ratios method as presented in the attached image in an old gambit version. The edge grids are generated by a double sided type. The edge length is 1 m and the edge has divided by 12 node. Above and below edge interval compression ratios are 1.3 and 1.4 relatively.

Does anyone know which expression is suitable for the relation between Y and i (interval node index (i)) ? Y= f (I). What can f(i) be?

Thanks a lot for any kind attention & idea.
