How to calculate the mesh once I have the thickness BL
Hello everyone
I'm studying boundary layer. When I do an analysis in order of magnitude I get the classic dependence of a thin plate as inverse of the square root of the Reynolds number, so I know the thickness.
So how many cells do I need to model the boundary layer with this thickness? For example, if I calculate meters, how many cells should I have between surface and , three, four?
The problem is stationary and incomprehensible, but viscosity is relevant with the contour condition as null velocity on surface.
My main question is how should I proceed once I know the order of magnitude of the boundary layer
Thanks for everything.
