Hi,
I am interested in knowing if there is any reference / article, that explains how to mesh or how to define the mesh density of a mesh based on non-dimensional numbers (i.e., Reynolds number). I usually do a convergence analysis, but maybe this convergence analysis is not enough for capturing all the physical processes that can occur in the domain. So, I am wondering if there is a recommendation to follow / use when meshing. For example, at high reynolds numbers, the boundary layer is tiny, but the mesh density in that boundary layer should be high enough for capturing the physical process. Thanks for your kind support. Best regards, Hector. |
