Hello,
i've been using GMSH for several years now, as a mesh builder for a great 3D code ADELI. With this code we can handle contact surfaces.meaning that we can apply along two parallel meshed planes, a frictional slipping condition, like a dislocation. The problem is that with GMSH, up to now, I have never been able to build SUPERPOSED planes : the only solution has been to build ellipse lines and curved planes to let a void exist in between both planes. Yet this is a pain in the ass to do. Therefore my question here is , whether anyone would know of some kind of a FORCED option that would allow GMSH to build those two superimposed plane planes ? Just for percision, each face plane is a boundary of different meshed volumes, juxtaposed along this very boundary.
Thanks a lot for any idea or tool about how to proceed. that would be a great relief!
take care within these confinement days, MG.
