I'm having a couple of issues with Snappy. The first is I'm getting blisters on my model's surface as seen in the first picture. The second issue is a strange quilting pattern in the refined mesh instead of a smoothly increasing grid distribution towards the model surface. I imagine these are just issues that need tweaking in the dictionary. But I don't know where to look. I'm using the dictionary from the DCTHull tutorial.

Hi,

Have you checked the quality of your stl file(s)? Try to increase "tolerance" in "snapControls" part to see if you can get a smoother surface. If it is possible, please share your test case or a simpler version of it in order to get some more detailed and customized help on your specific problems.

Cheers

I fiddled with the some of the settings in the SHM dictionary and the problem seems to have gone away. I'm not sure which one did the trick. I think it was the number of iterations.
