Meshing

Is it OK to have different type of meshes (hexahedral and tetrahedral) at different parts/segments in one geometry. I formed a new entire part by joining all bodies so that I can make my mesh conformal.
But due to unbalanced geometry, sweepable body was applied on one section where hexahedral element are generated.

Guide me should we approach conformal mesh for better result?
Can we have different type of meshes across geometry?
