Hi,
I would like some pointers or hints on how I could replicate a NACA0012 mesh that is included in the SU2 tutorials by the name ' mesh_NACA0012_inv'.
I spent a day trying to re-create it however I realised that without the knowledge of the application and options used, it would be difficult for me to recreate the same.
I have attached images comparing my attempt with the reference mesh.
If you guys have come across it before and have an idea of how it could be replicated, please give your suggestions.

Thank you

HI Vivek,

I don't see any attachments but if you refer to the mesh that is used in this tutorial then it is made with hyperbolic grid generator. You can generate similar grids with Construct2D for instance.

Best, Mikko

Hello Mikko,

Thank you for the reply.
However, the mesh I am looking for is not the C-grid used in the turbulent simulation you have linked. it is the mesh used in the optimization part of the tutorial.(here)

I have edited my thread to show the image links. I forgot to link them the first time.

please do let me know if you have come across such a mesh.

Best regards,
Vivek
