I have a geometry (created in ANSYS Design Modeler ) which is basically a C-D Nozzle inside a circular tank. I want to simulate multiphase flow using this geometry in Fluent after grid generation and pre-processing in ICEMCFD.

I got the geometry meshed in ICEMCFD. There is a small discrepancy in it which I am unable to solve it. After meshing, as I imported the mesh in fluent, it is showing me the whole geometry as a whole. (Single fluid domain) i.e one interior both for nozzle and tank).
By this, I mean the interior solid domain is being displayed as a single body. (both for nozzle and tank) shown below.
My requirement is that the nozzle body and tank body should be displayed as isolated , individual and separated fluid Bodies (domains) in Fluent. This is because I have to patch the steam in nozzle for simulation. (later on in fluent)
The fluid in Nozzle is steam while that one in tank is water.
My earnest and humble request from you is to tell me that option in icemcfd by which I can isolate both bodies for individual display later on in fluent.

I am sharing icemcfd mesh here. please see below images. you will understand what i mean

Hi,

You can do following things to sort out the problem.

While you meshing give different name for blocks, then conert into unstructured mesh and import in fluent.

still problem exists mail me @ silambarasan7@gmail.com
