Hello guys,
I am writing my mesh partitioner tool, so far I was able to use mpmetis from Metis to get the cell decomposition. Actually, I am lookong at parmetis to do the mesh partitioning in parallel, however I am a bit puzzled on how to use the "parmetis" binary program. The usage is: parmetis <graph-file> <op-type> <nparts> <adapth-factor> <ipc2redist> <dbglvl> <seed> However I get many issues while trying to decompose a mesh I got right with metis. I guess I am using a bad set of input parameters, but cannot figure out how they should be set. Any advice? Thank you for any help and suggestions! |
