Vertical Axis Wind Turbine

Dear all,
I need your help to do a 2D structured mesh for Vertical Axis Wind Turbine
using IGG(NUMECA grid generator).
Is there someone with experience on vertical axis? Which is the best way to do this mesh?
I'm trying to make a three blade mesh with tower in the middle. Do you have an example of configuration of this structured mesh?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

It would be best if you could find your local support or you may contact NUMECA directly.

how should it be for

Hi guys,
after a lot of tests I managed to generate the mesh I wished. I made a 2D mesh with 3 airfoils NACA0015 and tower using NUMECA grid generator. I made just a section of 120 degrees and I have rotate twice this section to have a complete turbine domain.
Now, I'm trying to setup the simulation using NUMECA solver but I'm having some problems. Is there anyone can help me?
From NUMECA manuals and tutorials I did not find any example for vertical axis wind turbine. The main problem is to setup the mesh rotation, because I want to rotate the entire domain.
Another doubt was the mesh properties, because if I select cylindrical coordinates, I can choose only between 3D and Axisymmetric. But my mesh is not 3D, so I'm not sure if Axisymmetric is the correct way.
Any help will be appreciate.
Thanks a lot
