How to choose number of non-linear iterations
Hi,
Making some progress with setting up a head wave cases, now trying to incorporate adaptive grid to capture surface in a cell-economical way. My question is : Is there a way to calculate or estimate number of non-linear iterations I need to allow for convergence? (or maybe how few I can get away with) The manual suggests 20 iterations for wave cases, but I see little or no difference to 10 iterations in forces etc. How do I know if I am safe? The solution need to be able to distinguish between hull candidates, absolute precision is of lesser importance. Kind regards Elastic Sparrow |
