About NLH in Numeca

Hi

I saw from NUMECA website that it is possible to use NLH to simulate the interaction between the rotor and the volute (see link below).

https://www.numeca.com/product/id/139

Does anyone know whether the simulation includes the full volute as well for the NLH method?

In the website, it mentions that only one blade passage is being solved.
I just wonder if that is the case, how can one get the flow field in the volute?

It will be very helpful if someone could kindly enlighten me a bit about the setup.

Thank you in advance.

Hi;
NLH of a impeller / volute has been presented in a paper by Numeca entitled as "The nonlinear harmonic method: from single stage to multi-row effects" published in International Journal of Computational Fluid Dynamics in 2013.
You may find useful hints there.
