Hi everyone! I'm working with a centrifugal compressor. I made the impeller mesh in AutoGrid5 and then I added a 3D effect to create and mesh a volute. I'm having some problems with the volute grid quality. I checked the orthogonality, expansion ratio, aspect ratio and angular deviation with the mesh quality tool and I have good results in the block cells. But my expansion ratio is very high in the block boundaries. My question is: the boundaries cells are as important as the internal cells?
Thanks. |
