Hi dears

i have impeller cad model and wanna mesh it in autogrid.
used import cad model box to define my geometry.

hub, shr .LE and TE seems ok . i also link blade surfaces .
geometry check is also ok . it create flow channel also but doesn't make 3d mesh and i got attached errors :

the error ask for increasing "intersection precision check ratio "
but i can not find it in Autogrid at all !!!

pls check attached photos
i really need help
thanks dear

Hi;
According to attached image, mid-layers at the outlet are quite concentrated while the first cell thickness is very large. Try reducing the first cell thickness at least to the order of 10^(-5) m. Also try to restrict the impact of boundary layer mesh to 30% of span. This will remove the concentration of cells at mean-line section.

Best

Thank you for your reply dear
decreasing the wall cell width, didn't work.

as you can see in attached photos, hub doesnot intersect blade near TE .
I used blade expansion in hub, but dont know why its failing !!!

appreciate your kind help dear

Hi;
check the geometry. Maybe there is an unwanted deformation that interrupts meshing process. Also check if airfoil intersects the whole hub curve. make sure that intersection is true all over the hub curve. If the geometry is smooth, expansion will solve the intersection problem.

thank you so much dear for your helps

i solved that . now i have other issue.
when i link cad model and add spiliter, flowpath created but when click on 3D mesh generation, suddenly emergency save or recovery warning raise and close autogrid !!!

i can not understand it. geometry check is ok , flow-path ok but ...

would you pls help me about it ?
