NLH in radial machines
 

Hi;
Is it possible to apply NLH solver to radial fans having volutes?
If yes, what would be the suitable option to model rotor-stator interface? Is domain-scaling method still applicable?

Hi Hamid,
the NLH method can simulate any turbomachinery configuration with a rotating and a fixed part such as a centrifugal machine with a volute.
The R/S interface is handled with a dedicated model that ensures excellent performance under all operating conditions.
