About CFL number

I am using fine/turbo to simulate a centrifugal pump. now i don't know what should be the best CFL number, and what's more, what should be imposed on the inlet and outlet conditions. A new comer thanks for your kind answer!

Re: About CFL number

Inlet conditions :

Total pressure Total temprature inlet flow angle

Outlet condtions

static pressure

clf number depends on convrgee firt try to simulate on defualt condtions. if solution is stable and converging then increase it other wise decrese

Re: About CFL number

the best CFL number that you can use is the 0.75 as it has given best results for me when I was doing the similar problem

thanks and regards BADRINATH
