Hello all,
I am running a MPI parallel coupled CFD-DEM simulation. For the purpose of voidage calculations I require mapping of several embedded points(sub points) within the particle volume on to the Eulerian grid. The problem I am facing is when sub point lies in a processor domain that is different than the domain of its center of mass, the cell in which it lies is not found (-1 is returned). While in principle the point is entirely within the CFD domain so it should be located. Foam::meshSearch::findCell function in OF is used for locating the sub point. Can anyone tell me how I can find the CellID of this sub-point in another processors domain ? Or this is a genuine bug? |
