Having a problem with snappyHexMesh and a stl file that I've been playing with. Getting the error:
word::stripInvalid() called for word >J
=
For debug level (= 2) > 1 this is considered fatal
Aborted

Accidentially submitted before I was done... In any case, I read previous postings and understand that there must be an illegal character somewhere, but I'm not sure where to look for it. Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks,
Dustin

Check the stl file with an editor. Look at the 'solid' tag. Maybe there are spaces or illegal characters in it?

I was attempting to use a binary .stl file that I had output from Solidworks, and when I used an ascii file, all went well. Not sure exactly what the problem there is, and it's very hard to troubleshoot in binary.

In any case, thanks much for the help!!
