This is a reader for paraview 2 - I'd actually be somewhat surprised if worked at all. Does this mean that you use paraview 2?

No, I don't have it. I just stumbled across this searching for something else ;-) If it is unmaintained (as it appears to be), IMHO it should be removed from the code base.

Thanks for the bug report, this is now fixed in OpenFOAM-1.6.x but untested.
