Hello,
I am new to the OpenFoam world and currently have a problem that I would like to have solved. So, I have the following situation: I want to merge two meshes[not obtained via blockMesh] where I want to assign different mechanical properties [density, E and nu]. How can I assign one material to each case so that I can use mergeMeshes to merge them both ? Best Regards ![]() B. Ramoa |

So, I solved this by doing the following:
1- mergeMeshes both meshes; 2- regionsCellSets; 3- setSet -batch batch.setSet: 4-setsToZones; Afterwards the material properties of each zone were defined under constant/ mechanicalProperties |
