hi,
I am using pisoFOAM with LES turbulence model to simulate a fully turbulent pipe flow with Re=7000 based on the centreline velocity. (non-rotating pipe, mapping method) The pipe is fully 3D and the dimensions are L=5D. I initialised the field with some turbulence using perturbU. after 10 flow through times it's fully developed. now i want to write out the time dependent velocity profile and put it in as inlet condition when i start a new calculation with a rotating pipe. i found some threads about swake4foam but couldn't figured it out. i'm using openfoam-2.2.0. any ideas how to put in the inlet a non-uniform time-dependent velocity profile? thanks in advance simon |
