Hi!

Anyone with previous experience in deforming the shape of an immersed boundary region at each time step?

I have an experimentally measured motion of a deformable wall, and I need to prescribe this motion/deformation at each time step by interpolating from these data.

I am using foam-extend-4.1 and so far I only found cases where boundaries have a rigid body motion.

Hi, You are looking at the ancient version of Immersed Boundary Code. It has been re-written twice since. Please see the foam-extend-5.0 code instead.

Thanks for your reply! I found it no problem with boundary condition in foam-extend 5.0. But I want to use a forceBased library (discribed in http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...eirsson/OF.pdf) which is compiled in foam-extend 4.0. I tested a case in laminar with no problem. While it came to turbulence flow, an error with "tauWall not set for IB patch ibCylinder for field U" occured. So, I want to know how to solve this problem.
