Purpose and Map of this forum
 

Dear all,

we decided to open a new sub-forum that contains only questions about the open source extensions coming from the community. The main idea is to separate basic OpenFOAM related questions from those related to the extensions build by the community. Please do only post questions regarding community contributions into this forum and prefix your question to the related contribution. If there is no prefix for the contribution you are using yet, please let us know to extend the prefix list in order to keep things clear.

To summarize:

• The forum is dedicated to ask questions only for community contributions (swak4Foam, pyFoam, discretizer etc.)
• New threads should always be prefixed with the contribution in question

Developer Groups Sub-Forums
We decided to add new sub-forums for developer groups or single persons, who are regularly updating and share extensions, tutorials or special offers for OpenFOAM. The requirements to get an own sub-forum is related to several things and is discussed internally. If you think, your contributions can be put into a sub-forum, please do not hesitate and contact us. The aim of this is to put everything into the right place and keep the forum more clear.
