Hi Everyone,
I am using the waveflume case to simulate the airy waves. I have some reflection problems in my case, The waves are reflecting from outlet relaxation zone. I did reflection analysis and Reflection coefficient is nearly %5. Actually this is relatively big. My domain is: 1 wavelenght for inlet relaxation zone 2 wavelenght for outlet relaxation zone Totally 10 wavelenght Mesh dependency is done (75 per wavelenght, 10 per wave height) I wonder is there any suggestion for relaxation zones (lenght, type etc.)? Can you give me any hint on this? Thanks in advance |

What is your aspect ratio? I usually use 8 cells per wave height and keep the aspect ratio 2 or 4. Also, I found that an outlet relaxation zone of 2 wavelengths is sufficient for my simulations in order to avoid wave reflection. Kind Regards, Ahmed |
