Hi all,

I was just replying to a thread and give some information to the thread starter. However, the guy thanked me that my advices were the reasons to get used to OpenFOAM. Therefore, I started to think about who is responsible for the good work we have in this great forum and thus, I will take some time to give some feedback and acknowledgment.

I will thank and give all my value to the following people
  • Philip Cardiff (bigphil, Ireland: specially for all the solid solvers)
  • Zeppo (specially for programming and other advanced things)
  • Bruno Santos (wyldcat, Portugal: for everything)
  • Alberto Passalacqua (alberto, Iowa)
  • Niels Gjoel Jacobsen (ngj, The Netherlands)
  • Anton Kidess (akidess, Germany)
  • Pablo Higuera (Phicau, Singapore: olaFlow, waves and other things)
  • Bernhard Gscheider (gscheider, Austria: swak4Foam and other things)
  • Alex Vakrushev (makaveli_lcf, Austria)
  • Joachim Herb (jherb, don't know) - sorry
  • Gerhard Holzinger (GerhardHolzinger, Austria: the small summary)
for the contributions to that forum and the community in general. You all do and did a great job in helping people (including me), sharing knowledge, building libraries and extensions, keeping the forum cleaning (moving/merging threads) and so much more... Its good to have you here even if we never met before in real. I am sure that a lot of people solved their problems with your contribution. Again: Thank you very much.

I am sure that I forgot a few good guys - as always - and will add them if I come across you if I am going through the forum.

All the best to you. Keep up the great work.

Zeppo will become famous soon enough
Thank you Tobias. I would also like to give credits to the people you mentioned. I don't often ask questions myself on the forum, but I like reading about valuable solutions they give to the tricky problems posted here. It is always nice to have someone ready to help.
