waveDyMFoam in OpenFOAM-v1712: "Dictionary entry for patch inlet not found"
 

Dear foamers,

I complied waveFoam and waveDyMFoam in OpenFOAM-v1712 successfully, and the tutorial "waveFlume" can be performed fine. However, when I applied waveDyMFoam, using sixDoFRigidBodyMotion solver, to simulate the response of a simple box, an error occurred as follows:

" Dictionary entry for patch inlet not found
file: /home/mk/OpenFOAM/mk-v1712/run/waveFlume/constant/waveProperties"

Anyone has experiences to this error? Any suggestion is pretty appreciated.

I have fixed this problem and post it on my Blog, maybe you can read it as a reference, hope it can help you, but it was written in Chinese, maybe you need to translate it into English, you can focus on the part of the modification of WaveDyMFoam as "waveDyMFoam的修改" in Chinese .
