I just want to let you know, that I modified the checkMesh application for the latest dev line of OpenFOAM. Right now, I am trying to push it to the Foundation dev line but for this, I need to make further modifications due to some inconsistency with the programming stuff, e.g., my extension uses the fvMesh class rather than the polyMesh class which needs the existence of the fvSolutions and fvSchemes files.

However, if you want to check it out, you are welcomed to use the tool. There are two options right now:
