Hi Foamers,

I would like to mesh the free surface between air and water accurately. With cfMesh you can have an Anisotropic refinement. My idea was to refine the free surface in the Z axis. But in one zone of my domain my geometry would be in the interface between the fluids, so in that zone I would like to have cells with aspect ratio around 1 in order to have a good prism layer. My anisotropic refinements are the following:

anisotropicSources
{
Box
{
type box;
centre (0 0 0);
lengthX 1;
lengthY 1;
lengthZ 0.12;
scaleX 1;
scaleY 1;
scaleZ 0.125;
}

Box2
{
type box;
centre (0 0 0);
lengthX 0.2;
lengthY 0.2;
lengthZ 0.2;
scaleX 0.125;
scaleY 0.125;
scaleZ 1;
}

You can observe that the second anisotropic refinement is smaller than the other, it is only placed in the location where the geometry crosses the interface.

In the images attached is shown that in the area where my geometry should be there are small cell with aspect ratio around 1, but I do not know why the second refinement is spread all over the domain in each axis. Is any way of control it??

Thank you in advance,

MFS
